How we met
We met on August 4th, 2012 at a place called Kiss and Fly in New York City—the night was young, we both had just arrived.
After 15 minutes of trying to understand each other’s names, we eventually struck up a conversation over some drinks, we danced, Tamim rapped 50 Cent, and we hit it off.
We exchanged numbers before we left, and as they say…the rest is history!

The Proposal
Alaska, 4 am, minus 10° degrees. +1000 Stars and the northern lights…

There we were in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness, wrapped in plush blankets inside the car. We stared at the sky, snuggled, and talked for hours trying to keep ourselves awake. Then -it finally happened. Faint hues of green began to shimmer in the sky, glowing brighter and brighter with each stroke. I rubbed my eyes and blinked vigorously in disbelief. We both jumped out of the car and stared at the unimaginable wonder that was happening above us. Rays of green engulfed the sky, swirling and turning in a dance. My heart was full…or so I thought. Then I turned and there he was. My perfect man, on one knee, with a perfect ring, at an absolutely perfect moment in time. It was pure magic!
